Podcasts Unite to Honor Missing Bryan “Vladek” Hasel on World Kindness Day

Bryan “Vladek” Hasel, a former Marine who disappeared in November 2021, cared deeply for the unhoused community. In an effort to commemorate Vladek’s spirit of kindness on World Kindness Day, November 14, and to raise awareness about his ongoing disappearance, several podcasts and organizations, including Moms and Mysteries and True Crime Podcast Training, are joining forces to host a fundraising event. This event will provide essential items to the unhoused population in multiple cities across the nation.

Bryan Hasel, affectionately known as “Vladek,” was last seen on CCTV and body camera footage at Foxtail Coffee Co. on University Boulevard in Orlando on November 6, 2021. The last confirmed encounter with Vladek took place at his apartment complex, “The Place at Alafaya,” on November 15, 2021. Unfortunately, no new information regarding his whereabouts has surfaced since that time.

The fundraiser serves a dual purpose: it aims to assist the unhoused community by providing them with essential items while simultaneously drawing attention to Vladek Hasel’s disappearance and the ongoing search efforts to find him. The primary objective is to distribute a minimum of 50 drawstring bags filled with essential supplies in each city on November 14, World Kindness Day. These bags will contain items such as deodorant, toothbrushes and toothpaste, bottled water, winter gloves, hand warmers, protein snacks, and more. Remarkably, each bag costs less than $16. “True Crime Podcast Training is honored to extend its support to the unhoused community in Topeka, Kansas,” says Haley Gray and Andrea Marshbank, Co-CEOs of True Crime Podcast Training. “We firmly believe that small acts of kindness can have a profound impact on people’s lives. By coming together to help those in need, we hope to inspire others, both individuals and organizations, to contribute to similar vital causes. Vladek’s legacy of kindness and compassion is a powerful reminder of the positive change that can be achieved when communities unite.”

By uniting in this effort to help the unhoused community and bring awareness to Vladek Hasel’s disappearance, we have the opportunity to create a significant impact and demonstrate the immense power of human kindness. Together, we can make a tangible difference and honor Vladek’s legacy.
